Dear Classmates,

Well another reunion has come and gone. Three decades have passed since we departed Downers South. We barely know each other after all this time, yet it was a pretty good turnout with perhaps a hundred people for our 30-year class reunion! Bifocals were the norm as quick glances bounced off nametags. Some of us are grandparents now and it hardly seems possible.

In Memoriam:

Karen Olhava-Henderson
The travel community is saddened by the loss of long-time industry colleague, Karen Olhava-Henderson, a 30-year veteran of Singapore Airlines. Karen was on vacation in New Zealand with her husband Robert and seven-year-old son Luc when their car was involved in a head-on automobile accident on December 16, 2006. Karen's husband Rob was driving while Karen was asleep in the back seat when the accident occurred. It is believed that Karen died instantly and did not suffer from her injuries. Rob and Luc were hospitalized with fractures and other trauma, but are now doing well at home in California.
